Understand the context
We listen to the learner and family to understand priorities, strengths, everyday settings and current supports.

Mathew supports children on the autism spectrum through a comprehensive psychoeducational approach. Plans may include social-emotional skills, self-regulation, relationships, independence and learning, while considering each child’s strengths, needs and everyday life. Goals are agreed with the family and, when appropriate, with the school and other support professionals.

The learner holds the helm.
